I began to practice over 10 years ago and I found early on that this was something that was highly challenging and enjoyable for me and that Yoga was a great way for me to keep healthy, toned, and feel great. I noticed quite quickly that yoga was becoming a very important part of my life.

I continued to practice Yoga until I began my teacher training in Dublin in October 2005 and in May 2007 I was awarded an YTTC / Yoga Alliance Diploma in teacher training. During this time I had the privilege of training with YTTC Directors Marie Quail / Roy Griffin and a number of other YTTC instructors. It was soon after this that I found the challenge of Ashtanga / Vinyasa Flow Yoga and knew this was the yoga for me!
To further my training I continually attend workshops and I have had the privilege to have trained with some World renowned yoga instructors including Judith Hanson Lassiter, Mathew Sweeney, and Peter Sanson.
In November 2009 I completed a 40 hour intensive teacher training course on the Primary Series of Ashtanga yoga with Ashtanga Yoga teacher David Swenson and most recently in London in July 2010 completing a 4 day workshop with Ashtanga Teacher David Williams both of whom have been a great inspiration to me. I also continue to practice Ashtanga yoga daily.
I am also qualified as a Yoga Alliance / Trust in Birth Prenatal yoga teacher after studying in The Elbowroom in April – August of 2008. I also teach weekly pregnancy yoga classes in Dublin.
As a Yoga teacher I have grown to understand that with Practice and taking the time to understand you and your own body that Yoga can be an important part of your natural health and well being. Any one can try yoga! It’s about learning what works for you and going at your own pace! You build your practise with time.
My yoga classes are energetic and challenging and I Enjoy teaching a fast paced class combining the flow of moving through each yoga (Asana) posture and combining it with the breath to work towards building energy, toning, building strength & relaxing the mind & body.
I also teach Corporate Yoga classes & private yoga lessons. Details available on request.
All classes that I teach are mixed ability (Open Level) suitable for beginners or improvers.
